1. How was your work as an intern meaningful to your education and personal growth? 2. How did your view of life beyond high school change or develop during your time as an intern? 3. How did communication and/or collaboration at work influence your understanding of professional working environments?

My work as an intern was very meaningful because since I've been here at my internship, I've been even more excited to go back to school and learn more. I've also learned a lot from the people working at the Review-Journal and I will remember what they have taught me for the rest of my journalism career. As for personal growth, I think that I have increased my patience and I now know to always go over my work and try to improve it as much as I can. Since I've been here, I started to look or online media outlets that I could work for. I eventually found an outlet that let me join them as a contributing writer, so my life beyond high school is already somewhat starting because I already have a job that my future career will be based off of. Since I don't really talk much, the hardest thing for me here was to call up people and ask them questions regarding whatever I was writing a story about. But now, I feel as if I am not as shy as I was when I started and that this internship brought me out of my shell. I also have communicated with everyone around the office and even have made friends here.
